MV Agusta, for better or worse, forge their own path. So you won’t be surprised to learn they’ve produced one-off, gold covered Dragster RC for a customer.
The bike has been built for Otabek Umarov, Son-in-law of the President of Uzbekistan, and chairman of the Uzbekistan Triathlon Federation.
As you can see from the images, there really is a lot of gold. Not actual gold, mind, just some gold-effect mirror finishing on, well, most of the bike that MV says was achieved with ‘the best usage of silvering painting technologies’. They’ve also created a special golden helmet to go with the bike.
Aside from the shiny golden bits, there’s not much else different from the standard Dragster 800 RC. MV have added an SC Project Reparto Corse exhaust which unsurprisingly has gold heat shields.
The price for this ridiculous, over-the-top piece of jewellery? MV Agusta won’t say, but we imagine it’s pretty expensive.
