MV Agusta F4s now included in mass Brembo brake recall

MV Agusta confirm their inclusion in the Brembo brake drama.

Last week we brought you information regrding the Brembo Master Cylinder Recall for Ducati and Aprilia, as well as Brembo’s Official Statement

We have just been notified that MV Agusta has added there venerable F4 sportbike to the list of recalled motorbikes. MV Agusta USA is recalling certain 2015-2016 F4 RC and F4 RR motorcycles. These models are equipped with the Brembo front brake master cylinders that may fail.

Just like with Aprilia and Ducati, MV Agusta will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front brake master cylinder piston, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact MV Agusta and the number for this recall is 18RC01.

Again, so far this recall notice is limited to U.S bikes. However if you live in Europe – or any where else for that matter – it wouldn’t hurt to contact your local dealer just in case.
