Husqvarna confirm March 2018 date for Vitpilen and Svartpilen 701

Husqvarna have finally released the Vipilen 701 alongside the Svartpilen 701, which will be released in dealers in March 2018.

Both bikes use a 692cc single-cylinder engine from the 701 Supermoto, which makes 75hp. The Vitpilen 701 comes with a six-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, a trellis frame and the whole bike weighs around 157kg.
We’ve written a lot about these bikes over the past couple of years, so the big news today isn’t so much that the bike exists in production form, but that it’s actually going to be in dealers for March 2018. Which is six months or so later than the end of 2017 that they quoted late last year.

But when it looks this good, it’s better late than never!
