TT: Dunlop sails to Suzuki senior triumph

Storming win for Dunlop after restart.

Michael Dunlop proved he could win on any manufacturer bike with a stunning win after a red-flagged, restarting Senior TT.

With the first attempt at running the Senior TT aborted due to a red-flag incident for Ian Hutchinson – he was airlifted to hospital with a suspected broken leg – second time was a charm for Michael Dunlop on his 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000RR.

With some mechanical changes in place Dunlop took the lead from the restart and led over the shortened four-lap race with Peter Hickman and Dean Harrison taking the remaining podium honours.
