British comedian is taking on the gruelling Scottish Six Days Trial, and filming the ride for Dave TV show.
The Scottish Six Days Trial is a gruelling event for any entrant brave enough to take part. Add into that mix the added pressure of TV cameras and having to perform for a new, three-part TV show and you’ve suddenly entered the world of Ross Noble.
Ross Noble: All Torque is being filmed for TV channel Dave. The three hour-long episodes will chart Noble’s progress in the event and will be shown later this year.
“It’s a race that’s defeated countless seasoned professionals who’ve been riding all their life, and certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted – or foolhardy comedians. Training during every second of spare time and helped along the way by his coach James Burroughs, can Noble conquer one of the toughest sporting challenges known to man?”
In typical fashion, Noble – who has already made two motorcycling-based series for the British TV channel – seems to be taking it all in his stride,
“This is one of the most technically difficult motorcycle challenges in the world – you have to ride for eight hours a day for six days on a bike with no seat.
But as I do stand-up as a job I’m hoping that will help!”
My twitter silence for the last few days is because I am in the highlands of Scotland the result of which will be a tv show.as you were.
