British-based manufacturer inks Santander deal to secure V4SS and V4RR output.
Having inked a deal between Santander Corporate & Commercial and Norton Motorcycles, the company now expects to be able to increase production from their current 40 bikes a month to over 130.
“Having developed and pre-sold a huge number of bikes, we needed the funding to be readily available to pay for tooling, stock and people to allow production to move from 40 bikes per month to in excess of 130 bikes with effect from summer 2017” – Stuart Garner, CEO Norton Motorcycles
Norton are said to currently produce around 450 motorcycles a year out of their Donington Hall facility. If this funding produces the numbers that Garner is predicting, then this could mean over 1,500 new Norton’s hitting the roads.
