There’s no doubting that the KTM group know exactly what they’re doing.
We’re already expecting a bumper 2017 for Husqvarna, and now our friends at Asphalt & Rubber tell us that Husqvarna will be reporting a 43% in both sales and turnover for the year of 2016.
The off-road specialist sold 30,700 motorcycles across the world last year – which is close to twice the amount that they managed to shift in 2014.
No news on profits – although turnover was close to €200,000,000 – but with the requirements needed for tooling and production of the new Vitpilen and Svartpilen 401s we’re expecting to see a substantial reinvestment of funds back into this area.
If the reviews and subsequent sales of the new machines provide even half of the amount of the expectation levels, then it looks like 2017 could be a very exciting year for the firm.
