Official showrooms will begin setting up from next year.
BMW Motorrad made its first official debut at the Auto Expo in India this year, where their motorcycles are currently imported by existing, BMW car dealers. Now with an announcement this week, the German motorcycle manufacturer has said that they’ll officially be opening up during 2017.
In fact, BMW were expected to have some presence by the close of 2016, but it would appear that next year will be the beginning of the rollout.
Whilst there will be separate motorcycle dealerships, it’s also expected that bikes will begin being placed on display in existing car dealerships as well.
