If you were thinking about blagging a KTM ride, do it before May 8th.
The Austrian manufacturer has made a bit of a deal over its annual ‘Orange Days’ event here in the UK in recent years. Traditionally it’s been a way for the dealers of the big, orange brand to celebrate the ‘new season’ – the couple of months where it doesn’t rain quite as much here in Britain – but this year there is a bit of an extra bonus for swinging your leg over a test model.
There are going to be five pairs of tickets (we hope that are VIP of some description) to be given away just for arranging a test ride with your local dealer. Naturally, it’s a competition so there’s no guarantee that you’ll be one of the lucky five of course, but as Dale Winton used to say; you’ve got to be in it to win it!
The 2016 GP at Silverstone could be quite a special event for KTM. Between setting up their new UK HQ within the Silverstone circuit compound and testing already started for their official entry to MotoGP in 2017, there could be a few surprises in store for the winners at this year’s round.
You can check out KTM’s site for all of the details.
