KTM have one entry guaranteed for the 2016 MotoGP season.
The Austrian firm have had a ride firmly confirmed for 2016, and handily it’s at the circuit around which they’ve been doing the majority of their testing. Both Alex Hofmann and Mika Kallio have been lapping the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain for the winter tests on the stunningly sexy-looking RC16 and so far all is would appear to be going well.
There will be more testing in February after the results from the Valencia tests have been studied and acted upon and then it’s expected that KTM will announce their intention to race in one other MotoGP weekend that year also.
So even if Kawasaki aren’t going to be taking part for a while, we’ll have some fresh metal on the grid to ogle over.
