Some weeks it’s a struggle to find a suitable movie for our Lazy Sunday slot. Other days it pretty much writes itself.
Today was one of the easy days.
The Macau Motorcycle GP is an amazing event. The spectacle of sports bikes rattling around the streets of the city have been a feature of the race weekend since 1967 and in that time we’ve seen wins from such riders as Kevin Schwantz, Carl Fogarty, Ron Haslam and John McGuiness. In fact, if you look at the standings of the past fifteen years, it’s been an incredible event for British riders – we’ve swept the boards and the Union flag has been a consistent feature of the top podium place since 1992.
Was the 2014 race any different? You can see for yourself with the full, world feed of yesterday’s GP race.
Watch it – you won’t be disappointed.
