Just. Look. At. It.
We’ll let you into a little secret… We’ve got a slight soft-spot when it comes to Kawasaki’s now-deceased Parallel Twin. It was the first big bike that Steve MF bought with his own, real money and the balance of power, delivery and handling, combined with a cheekily low price and that (admittedly) workmanlike engine always seemed like the perfect purchase to us. What more bike could anyone need?
But all that doesn’t matter now, because it’s gone. And whilst the Ninja 650 would seem to have updated the looks and made the new machine even sportier than it was in its previous guise, it’s nowhere near as aggressively beautiful as this new build from Paignton’s finest – Kevils Speedshop. This is proper, old school streetfighter-esque badness; and we love it.
Seriously. We’re not even going to discuss the work that’s gone into this, because frankly, it doesn’t matter. It should (of course it should) but we’ll deal with that later. Just as soon as we’ve picked our chins up off from the floor.
Kevils Moto #29 is stunning.
Well played Kev. Well played – it’s only Monday morning and already we’re in need of a lie down.
P.S. Did we mention it’s for sale?
