Engine Sound: First look at BMW’s HP4 RACE on track

After the earlier announcement of the BMW HP4 RACE, we’ve now got the first official footage of the super track-only machine in action.

With a limited run of just 750 units worldwide and with a price tag of £68,000 there is no doubt that this is a ‘halo’ machine for BMW Motorrad and that it’s destined to be very much an expensive track day toy – or perhaps more likely, a fancy fireplace ornament for the mega rich.

What’s also not in doubt is that it’s also going to be a race motorcycle that is designed for one, singular purpose; to go around a track as fast as physics will allow.

This is our first, official look at the machine doing just that. You’re welcome.
