Jonathan Brand, a US-based designer and artist, has created something quite extraordinary
Consisting primarily of ultra-thin translucent plastic, this full-size replica of a classic Honda CB500 has been over a year in the making.
Originally, Jonathan was in the market for a “real” bike, and had his sights set on one of the ubiquitous Japanese fours. However, the birth of his son – and the realisation that he was extremely accident-prone – prompted him to decide that perhaps a real bike wasn’t so sensible after all. So instead, he built the next best thing.
Quite a feat, we’re sure you’ll agree. I’d love to see a 3D printed Ducati Panigale next…
